The site is live. No countdown brought you here, no glossy reveal is waiting behind it. We turned it on the moment it was honest, which is a little earlier than was comfortable.
So here's what building in the open means here, in plain terms.
We are four people trying to make a cleaning robot whose brain lives in the dock - Alpha is the robot, the dock is where the thinking happens. We don't yet know everything we'd need to know to promise you it works. We're not going to pretend otherwise.
What you'll find on this site is the actual record: what we shipped, what we broke, what we decided, and what we learned the hard way. When a test fails - and they fail - we'll write that up the same week, with the same care, as anything that goes right. The failure log sits in the same feed as the win. That's not a marketing pose. It's the only version of this we know how to do without lying to you.
What you won't find: prices we can't stand behind, ship dates we wouldn't bet our own money on, or a claim that isn't true yet. If we don't know, we'll say we don't know.
This post is the doorway. Past it are the named ones - the people, the bench, the bets, written by the people making them.
